Audit Forensik Lebih Baik daripada Panggil Boediono

JAKARTA– Pengamat Ekonomi, Faisal Basri, membela Wakil Presiden Boediono, terkait kasus bailout Rp 6,7 triliun Bank Century. Menurut Faisal Basri, pemanggilan tim pengawas Century DPR terhadap mantan Gubernur Bank Indonesia tidak akan menyelesaikan masalah perkara dana talangan tersebut.

Ketimbang memanggil Boediono, Faisal menambahkan lebih baik DPR melakukan audit forensik kasus Bank Century. Menurut Faisal, cara ini lebih baik dibanding memanggil tokoh-tokoh yang terseret kasus Century.

“Waktu saya bersaksi di DPR, saya mengusulkan kalau DPR mau kerja benar lakukanlah audit forensik sebagaimana dilakukan ke Bank Bali akhirnya ditemukan Akbar Tandjung, cek-cek itu,” kata Faisal Basri di dalam sebuah diskusi di Restoran Bumbu Desa, Cikini, Jakarta, Sabtu (15/2/2014).

Karena audit forensik tidak kunjung dilakukan, Faisal menduga DPR justru tidak sungguh-sungguh ingin menuntaskan kasus Century. “Jadi DPR juga gak mau (kasus century) tuntas,” ujar bekas calon Independen Gubernur DKI‎‎ itu menambahkan.
